Please be guided on the following rules on large-value cash transactions effective March 21, 2026, in compliance with BSP Circular No. 1230, Series of 2026.

Key Guidelines:

• Daily Limit: The cash withdrawal threshold is Php1 million per customer per day (or its foreign currency equivalent).
  
  For cash withdrawals above Php1 million, the Bank may request additional information, documents, or proof of purpose as part of its Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements.
   
• Cash Transactions Above Php1 million: Clients are encouraged to use non-cash channels, such as:
  • Check Issuance
  • Manager's Check
  • Fund Transfer (Over-the-counter, RTGS, PESONet)
  • Sterling Bank Online - Business*
  • Direct credit to deposit accounts

Please coordinate with your branch of account in advance to ensure smooth processing of large-value cash transactions.
