Please be guided on the following rules on large value cash transactions effective October 7, 2025, in compliance with BSP Circular No. 1218, Series of 2025.

Key Guidelines:

• Daily Limit: Cash withdrawals are limited to Php500,000 per day (or its foreign currency equivalent).

• Cash Transactions above Php500,000: Clients are encouraged to use non-cash channels, such as:

• • Check Issuance
  • Manager’s Check
  • Fund Transfer (Over-the-counter, RTGS, PESONet)
  • Sterling Bank Online* (Personal and Business)
  • Direct credit to deposit accounts

• For cash withdrawals above Php500,000, the bank may request additional identification, documents, or proof of purpose as part of its Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements.

Please coordinate with your branch of account in advance to ensure smooth processing of large value cash transactions.
